I am a Portland Oregon native. My love and admiration for this amazing place we call home makes my primary goal very easy: to help my clients buy or sell their homes and move onto their next big adventure.

FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS

This is a tricky time to purchase a home. Interest rates are higher than they’ve been in many years, causing us all to pause when we’re thinking about making a move. But (and there is a BUT), the fact is that as a renter you’re already paying a mortgage, it’s just not your own. Rents are on the rise, but if you’re paying a fixed mortgage, your payment stays the  same.

There are loan options for first time home buyers that make it easier to qualify for a mortgage and require a down payment that is less than you might think. Home ownership also comes with tax breaks you can benefit from.
